For all of the hype, both of these events in and of themselves are pretty stupid, but here is an open thread so our tens of readers can talk about all of the great things the Bears did this free agency and draft seasons.
Well, we have come to the end of yet another year of futility for the Bears. Double digit losses, no playoffs, and all that jazz. The elves here at Fire Everybody will be hard at work on Black Monday, updating and changing the masthead with the inevitable changes that are forthcoming.
Ho Ho Ho! And what a Christmas present for the Bears faithful to be able to see this game on Christmas Eve. Don’t worry everyone, the season is almost over and we will be able to start working on the new masthead for this site.
The rare Saturday game has the Bears facing the Lions. WHY are we starting to win games now that it is 100% to our detriment?! We need to tank!
On the other hand, Grabowski is getting some good playing time in and is improving by the game. I think the early returns show that he will be solid. Thank god.
We have been here before. Nothing to play for. Late in the season. The press up in arms. Black Monday is coming. I am totally cheering for the Bears to lose as there is ZERO benefit to winning right now. We need to keep Mitch upright. Another lost season.
The season grinds on with the game of the week at Soldier Field today. Word has it that the Giants coach will be canned this week and Fox can’t be far behind.
Believe it or not, mathematically the Bears can still make the playoffs.
It will be interesting to see Garoppalo out there today as well. Let’s just keep Mitch upright that is all I care about. Oh that, and we need to lose.
This time of year with no hope, winning is for losers. Draft position is king.
Aw man. I had such a nice Thanksgiving. I won’t ruin it by watching this ass whipping. As of this writing Vegas has the fEagles by 11. I don’t think that is enough.
Only two lines are worse – Miami getting 15.5 at New England and the awful Packers getting 14 at Pittsburgh.
